BOSTON — "WE are not your average rock 'n' roll band," says Annie Lennox very deliberately, very seriously. This is the first thing out of Lennox's mouth after the introductory hello-how-are-yous are exchanged. At the moment — the moment being in a car on the way to back to the hotel an hour or so after Eurythmics' Boston performance — Annie, with short orange-red hair, wearing green military-style fatigues, is relatively unprepossessing.
