Fleetwood Mac: Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles CA

Mark Leviton, Music Connection, 3 October 1980

FLEETWOOD MAC, at the tail end of a long tour, performed a slightly edited version of their last Forum outings, but without enough tenacity or grace for either Lindsey's hard-edged Tusk rockers or Stevie's crystalline melodies. Only occasionally did the band catch fire, on 'Oh Well', 'Sisters Of The Moon' and the spectacular opening verses of 'What Makes You Think You're The One?' They were mostly tired, self-indulgent and uninvolved, and this during shows that were reportedly being taped for a live album.
