George's Tour Winds Down in New York, and Mr. Harrison Goes to Washington

Larry Sloman, Rolling Stone, 30 January 1975

NEW YORK — George Harrison scream sings 'Sue Me, Sue You Blues', a song born and bred in this city, to a nearly packed Madison Square Garden. Paul McCartney is in the audience, recognizable in spite of a hippie-wig disguise, but stays put. John Lennon, who'd told the Today show on NBC that he might be dropping by, was a no-show. And now Harrison is nearly sneering the line: "Hold your geetar in your hand/Now all that's left is to find yourself a new band!"
