On working with a regular session team

"A group of people in those days got selected to do a lot of work, which in a way narrowed down the availability of work for others... We saw more of each other than our families back then, but not socially. It was rolling up at the office and getting home to help your kids with the homework. It's an illustrious life, but a ghostly one because I was always working for somebody else. We were men with mortgages and second-hand Cavaliers. I can't believe the glory of it all now. I play music and do what I like now. The kids have grown up."
