Ian Winwood, Daily Telegraph, 13 March 2020

ON SEPTEMBER 30th, 1992, Ice-T performed a concert with his metal band Body Count at the Jack Adams Stadium in San Diego. On a bill co-headlined by Guns N' Roses and Metallica, the 34-year-old produced a letter from the city's Chief of Police, Robert W. Burgeen, warning him that he might face jail were he to sing his group's most infamous track. His response to the threat was to wipe the sheet of A4 paper on his derriere.
