THE MARQUEE'S experiment with rap concerts didn't last long. The small club, in the Chelsea section of Manhattan, usually presents alternative-rock bands. But after the Ritz canceled a show featuring the rap groups Run-D.M.C. and EPMD, the Marquee decided to book the acts for two nights earlier this month.
