A LOT OF people rabbit on about a punk "legacy" but they just don't seem capable of realising that Punk ain't and could never be about living in a '76 time bubble. Punk ain't about safety pins and spikey hair four years too late just as much as it ain't about hero-worshipping has-been "punk stars" or accepting the new-hippy "literati" as arbiters of taste.
