STATELY, PLUMP Jah Wobble came from the stairhead, bearing a bottle of lemonade from which the label was peeling. A blue jean jacket, ungirdled, was sustained gently behind him by the mild morning air. He held the bottle aloft and intoned...absolutely nothing.
