IT MUST have been sheer devilry that inspired someone to play Prince over the PA directly before Jason Donovan came on stage. Even Jason, awaiting his entrance, must have felt keenly the irony of following the world's most credible pop musician with himself. At any rate, when he finally appeared he had the decency to look abashed. Maybe he was wondering what he was doing up there.
