LOS ANGELES: Through his work with the James Gang, Barnstorm and more recently with his solo endeavours, Joe Walsh has earned the respect and recognition as one of rock's finest guitarists. In fact, contemporaries such as Eric Clapton and Peter Townshend have continually placed him in an elite class as a testament to the talent the man emits on stage and on recorded projects. The problem is that Walsh's abilities are often overshadowed by the unpredictability and inconsistency of his efforts.
