John Entwistle: Exile On Times Square

JUDGING FROM its state of neatness one would never guess that a member of the who was occupying a suite of rooms in the stately and quietly luxurious Hotel Navarro, overlooking Central Park. But John Entwistle was here, vacationing with his wife Alison. Entwistle commented quickly on the difference between this trip and hotel life on a Who tour (there wasn't a brandy bottle in sight, and for refreshments John called out to a local deli for tea), recalling in mock amazement that this is one of the few hotels a member of The Who is allowed to stay in on a visit to New York.
