EVERY REFERENCE to cops getting hurt elicited cheers of approval from a largely white audience on Sunday. Is that the kind of solidarity that back-and-proud roots poet Linton Kwesi Johnson is looking for? I doubt it, and that's probably why he looked so unhappy and uncomfortable during most of his brief set.
