Loose Ends: Zagora (Virgin)

Nick Coleman, New Musical Express, 11 October 1986

"THE GORGEOUS thunk of BMW doors, Jacob, like electric windows' reptilian blink on buttocks clenched in bucket seats, are signals too malodrous to be dismissed lightly as humanity's natural apres-God perceptual corruption of Divinity. Indeed, old cankerous buddy, it is much worse. I detect in the poetry of expensive German cars a degenerate craving for a new aesthetically-predicated sensuality. Shall we dare to be witty and name it Neo-Sense?"
