THINGS HAVEN'T improved much in the last few weeks. The Apollo, the main showcase for black talent in the New York area, continues to run a movie called Save The Children which features some of the top stars in the business, including the Temptations, Isaac Hayes, Roberta Flack, the Jackson Five, Marvin Gaye, the O'Jays and plenty of others, but I would much rather see them in concert.
