Andy Gill, Q, December 1992

ON A TWISTY MOUNTAIN ROAD ABOUT 25 miles outside Toulon, another mad bastard is laying his life on the line, taking his bike way over to the wrong side of the road as he sweeps into another blind bend, before laying it almost horizontal and accelerating through the corner. Another mad bastard follows, this one protected only by flip-flops, shorts and the rucksack on his back. I hope they're getting a decent rush out of this, because I'm almost in need of clean trousers on their behalf.
