Melvins, Napalm Death: Garage, London
Ian Fortnam, New Musical Express, 21 May 1994
THIS MUCH we know: having long since rejected such trifling notions as tunes, melody and coherent vocals, Napalm Death have concentrated their efforts on creating an impenetrable wall of sonic aggression. Lyrics are replaced by monotone retching, and audiences are literally beaten into submission by the relentless volume and soul-destroying pessimism of their performance.
