BEST KNOWN for his work with Norman Connors — he sang lead on 'You Are My Starship' — Michael is vocally similar to Marvin Gaye at times. He has that rather unnatural falsetto that is deceivingly powerful at times. However, his choice of material is completely different and there is more than a hint of jazz to everything he does.
