Most on Donovan

Kevin Swift, Beat Instrumental, March 1967

IT'S A FACT. Not many artistes give a thought to the guys who produce their records. Listeners seem to be as bad. Do you think of Denny Cordell when 'Night Of Fear' is played, or Ron Richards each time a Hollies' track is heard? And how about Mickie Most when a Herman or Donovan smasheroo comes sailing over the air. He must be the most successful of the record producers at the present time and his artists always seem to be assured of major record success. Herman is his biggest seller so far, but the artist who seems to attract the most controversy is Donovan.
