Ms Dynamite: Judgement Days

Pete Paphides, The Times, 1 October 2005

FUNNY WHAT mainstream appeal can do to an artist. Ms Dynamite has never sounded like someone who strived too hard to achieve it, but her second album sounds like the work of a woman a little too eager to hold on to it. When the songs work, that doesn't matter especially. On Judgement Days, the righteous ire that she directs at a rogues' gallery of global miscreants hits hard.
