IN THE BEST possible sense, there has always been an air of the caricature about Nick Cave: the public persona. His career has felt like a series of well-executed, carefully thought-out moves. The previous filmic attempt to get to the bottom of his artistry, 2014's 20,000 Days On Earth rather suffered as a result, Cave's musings on his craft appearing somewhat self-absorbed and superior.
