"THE NEXT stop that we make will be England" was the cue for 3000 Londoners to get out of their seats and move to the O'Jays' 'Love Train'. It was an appropriate finale. British tastes have changed to a point where American black music, particularly the Philadelphia production, has become the only consistent foreign source of hit singles besides the efforts of teenybopper idols.
