SEVERAL MONTHS have elapsed since Paolo Nutini got the idea for his performance at the 2010 Brit Awards. If he remembers the moment well, that'll be something to do with the speed with which it came together in his head. In Cardosi's – one of three restaurants and cafés in Paisley, outside Glasgow, run by members of his extended family – the singer shrugs as if to acknowledge the strangeness of what he's about to describe.
