Peter Yarrow: Max's Kansas City/Professor Longhair: Kenny's Castaways, both New York NY

Ian Dove, The New York Times, 21 October 1973

Solo Yarrow
PETER YARROW would appear to have shed all semblance of times past when he fronted an all-electric group at Max's Kansas City on Park Avenue South, his first New York solo appearance. And yet he occasionally harked back to the days when the folk boom was acoustically in flower with songs such as 'This Land Is Your Land' and Bob Dylan's 'I Shall Be Released'. On opening night his former partner Noel Stookey joined in the soft, singalong version of this song.
