Phillip Glass: Einstein On the Beach (Tomato)

IN MY opinion, Philip Glass is one of the two or three most interesting musicians alive today. Along with fellow composer Steve Reich, he has created a whole new way of listening to music, beyond the Western traditions of waiting for "events" (loud crashes, long silences, etc.) and "tunes."
