Pink Floyd: Inter-Planetary
David Sinclair, Q, April 1988
IF THERE IS ONE group for whom the enhanced audio medium of CD might have been invented, it is Pink Floyd. From its earliest days as house band at the UFO club where it rapidly became the guiding light of England's psychedelic avant-garde, to its current revived status as an international supergroup, the Floyd has never been about personalities or attitude let alone anything so fleetingly trivial as rock'n'roll. The Floyd's music is about sound and the spectacle that such sound suggests.
