Pulp: Astoria 2, London

Ted Kessler, New Musical Express, 11 December 1993

JARVIS COCKER stands on a little raised section of the stage, one finger pointing a la Travolta to the heavens, the other holding the mic delicately between his thumb and index finger. The house lights have been extinguished but you can still make out the singer's silhouette, the affected way he stands with one hip cocked to the left, the way he always pouts, even in the dark.
