KNOWING THAT Smokey Robinson is one of the five vice-presidents of the fabulously successful Tamla Motown label, I expected him to be a bustling businessman, a bit loud as a talker and full of over-confident opinions. How wrong I was. I found him rather shy, soft-spoken and most polite.
