THE MOST POPULAR T-SHIRT at the merchandise stands depicted a scoreboard that read "Rage 1 Cowell 0." As a means of explaining why Rage Against The Machine had travelled 5,450 miles to play a free open-air show in London, it did the job with a haiku-like clarity.
