Randy Crawford: Secret Combination (Warner Bros K 56904)

Paul Sexton, Record Mirror, 13 June 1981

CURIOUS THE way the music public keeps on discovering Randy Crawford and then losing her again. You'd have thought that having once chanced upon such a delicate vocal and interpretative talent as hers, they'd have put her in a safe place. But after her unveiling on the Crusaders' 'Street Life', it was the best part of a year till she shimmered into the Top 10 with 'One Day I'll Fly Away'.
