One of the most hyperactive rock scenes in the United States is a genre called 'funk-metal' or 'funk 'n' roll'. Groups like Faith No More, Fishbone and Living Color have broken into the charts; scores of funk-metal bands, with names like Scatterbrain and Primus are waiting in the wings.
