Roachford: Town & Country, London

Adam Sweeting, The Guardian, 5 April 1989

IT MAY ONLY be rock 'n' roll, but Andrew Roachford and his band kick up the kind of excitement from an audience that has been lost somewhere between stadium-sized shows and pop as TV commercial. The sight of a wall of pop going punters seems as quaint and nostalgic these days as the Morris 1000 or an Englishman scoring 100 before lunch.
