THE FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD mall rats who recorded Silverchair's mid-Nineties debut, Frogstomp, got plenty of flak from folks who couldn't get beyond the band's preoccupation with Pearl Jam, Nirvana and, later, Radiohead.
