Spandau Ballet: Heaven, London

SPANDAU BALLET are the house band of the Blitz Kids, a collection of young peacocks who fancy themselves as this month's leaders of London's post-punk fashion parade. The group's live appearances are still rare enough to qualify as events, and on Monday night in a Charing Cross gay club there was certainly an air of heightened expectancy as young androgynes in the garb of pirates, priests and Elizabethan tarts dashed around in search of paparazzi to record them for the gossip columns.
