WITH NO newly released album to promote, Stevie and band, backed by The Royal Philharmonic string section could afford to wallow in musical nostalgia and be that extra bit self indulgent. The theme for the evening for the evening, as has always been associated with Stevie, was that of world union through music, with Stevie's keyboard and piano rig set up within the prop of a small boat adrift at sea (an effect brought about by light blue silk sheets and a wind machine).
