The Cramps: Songs The Lord Taught Us (IRS)

TO TRASH THE trashiest, that was the Cramps' initial challenge to the burgeoning punk scene. Lux Interior threw down the gauntlet in 'Garbage Man', snarling "You ain't no punk, let's talk about the real junk." At first it didn't really work, because the Cramps hadn't yet learned to make their rawness and amateurishness work for, not against them.
