I REMEMBER THIS LOT when they were impeccably authentic New York Dolls copyists, with Arthur Kane barnets and Johnny Thunders riffs and excess onstage falling-over. Somewhere along the line Dogs D'Amour opted for organisation and success. Their timing was lucky, as Guns 'n' Roses and our own dear Quireboys became successful, suddenly there was a market for hirsute Stonesy, Facesish rock.
