The Ghost Tapes
Bill Wasserzieher, Los Angeles Free Press, 22 November 1974
OLD DEMO TAPES have a habit of rising to the surface — usually as soon as a performer has become big enough to be considered a valuable commodity. At the time the recording was made the performer could have been drunk and yodeling, or singing happy birthday to his mother in Utica — yet some company, if it can secure the rights, will put the record out, and probably an adjective like "rare" will be part of the title.
