SEAN O'HAGAN and his fellow Llamas must be sick of references to their past life in Microdisney by now, but this latest mini-album undoubtedly invites close comparison with the saccharine-coated poison pushers from Cork. Certainly more so than their uneven debut a year back, wherein main songwriter O'Hagan seemed extremely keen to diversify from that trademark polished throb and stately melody.
