BLACK MUSIC generally chooses not to join the rock musicians' never-ending search to find new styles and influences — a search which usually ends up chasing their musical tails. As with Curtis, Womack and hundreds more, the Isleys aren't going to do anything new with their latest album. There's nothing here which didn't evolve during their 3+3 rebirth. Yet... of course... it is still rich, virile, creative music.
