WHEN I THINK back a few years, I'm really amazed at how well certain records sold. I'm talking about basic rock 'n' roll records, or 'punk-rock', if you will. It's really an education, listening to those now, stuff by The Shadows of Knight, Music Machine, Standells, and Count Five. I mean, all those bands had quite outrageous records in the national Top 10 and in those days, getting in the Top 10 meant a certified million-seller.
