The scissors kept on cutting the cloth instead of the bits of stitching, but they wouldn’t give him a paper-round till he was over ten, and that wasn’t for another six months. He’d asked his mum for the money to buy one of those suits at C&A, but she said that would have to wait for his birthday, too.
