Punk rock, of course, is for the form of music which originated in the early 1970’s when rock writers en masse began writing about all the albums they threw away in 1967 (only to scour the bargain bins for in 1971), and which reached its height in 1972 when the Nuggets collection stormed the nation’s charts.
