N.Y. – Certainly not Kiss, a local band who remind of Black Sabbath, not Teenage Lust despite the scanty garb of the Lustettes, not even the renown Blue Oyster Cult who played long after Jon Tiven's bedtime, were able to get the New Year Off for that reporter, on the famous evening circa recently when he merged with N.Y.'s tackiest at Howard Stein's "House of Horribles," The Academy of Music on 14th St. It took Iggy and the Stooges, as Mr. Tiven describes:
