WE WERE assured that Dublin’s finest would be going back to basics on All That You Can’t Leave Behind; that they’d dispensed with the electro-trappings of Pop and written some driving blue-chip pop-rockers. But then some of us admired the qualified risks they’d taken on Pop and had had more than enough staple U2 to last a lifetime.
