OF THE presumably few people who ignored the charges of self-indulgence and pretentiousness generally levelled at Rundgren's last effort (the double-album Todd) and, despite everything, Got Into It, I'd imagine few would have been free of a certain apprehension concerning what the guy was going to do next.
