What's In a Word: "Krautrock" as a Term

"THE GERMANS have every right to be critical of the word 'Krautrock',"  says Wire's Colin Newman, and it's hard to disagree. It would be one thing if the word had been coined by Germans themselves, the way African-Americans reclaimed the word "nigger" or gays the word "queer". But it was not.
