A million people come to a converted dusty field over a period of two weeks, to jump on wild rides, stuff themselves with trans-fats and get up close and personal with various combinations of livestock. They walk away with cheap souvenirs, from promotional backpacks that smell like diesel to magnets that look like metal testicles and whirr like crickets as you throw them in the air.
