A FREQUENT ACCUSATION levelled at both Prince and Van Morrison is that they're too prolific, the sheer volume of their output leading to dips in quality. The same has also been said of Ryan Adams, but even the high points in his solo canon rarely equal the majesty of his former group's 1997 masterpiece.
