IN RECENT times, Motown's roster of artists has undergone several changes — with the departure of some of the performers who had been previously closely associated with "The Motown Sound" and the arrival of some new and exciting talent. No longer does the company stick to one particular bag — funky music is as much a part of the company as anything else! And in amongst the new breed, you might say, is a young lady who is just beginning to make an impact with her own special brand of fire and funk.
