Baker-Gurvitz Army:Hearts On Fire
Phil Sutcliffe, Sounds, 15 May 1976
THEY FINALLY got there, the Baker-Gurvitz Army, an unlikely gang of ornery hombres, always looked as though it would be goddam exciting if they sorted out where they were going. 'Memory Lane', a superb track on their first album served a warning, and the moralistic/mystical grand mish-mash of 'Elysian Encounter' suggested that might have been a false alarm after all.
